On February 23, Ahmaud Arbery's family and the 2:23 Foundation will honor Arbery's memory by hosting a virtual run called Finish the Run.

Tomorrow will mark one year since Arbery was shot and killed while running near Brunswick, Georgia. Event participants can run, walk or ride 2.23 miles between February 23 (2.23) and March 3 to honor Arbery's memory. Additionally, organizers encourage participants to share their runs on social media, including #FinishtheRun and #223fdn.

Race registration costs $23, and proceeds will go directly to a 2:23 Foundation scholarship fund, which provides young people with resources to pursue careers as lawyers, local leaders, policymakers, social engineers and other areas that further social justice efforts.

I will be running and I hope you will too!
